Research question

How are dimensions of territorial competitiveness associated with local public services and economic-fiscal conditions?

Research context

Territorial competitiveness cannot be adequately captured by a single economic indicator. It requires a joint examination of economic potential, labour markets, public services and fiscal conditions.

Empirical approach

The research combines territorial and institutional data sources, develops multidimensional constructs and estimates structural relationships. It includes PLS-SEM modelling and validation against independent financial indicators.

Interpretation and limitations

A cross-sectional design can identify statistical associations, but cannot by itself establish causality. Reliability and validity of the underlying constructs must be assessed alongside the substantive findings.
